In the early 1990s, the demand for our products increased due to exports to Europe, Japan and the EEUU. As a result of this demand, we built a new pottery with more than 7,000 m2 of floor space, taking advantage of this moment to modernize our production line.
We acquired a filter press for the production of our clay, which was previously done manually. Moorish ovens are converted to propane ovens, which are much more efficient and have shorter firing hours. Very precise measurements and temperatures above 1,000 degrees Celsius give our products excellent quality and resistance. Dryers are designed to be fed with the heat coming from the cooling of the kilns after firing, taking advantage of this residual energy.
The premise of generating the least environmental impact is always at the forefront of our minds.
As a result this has led us to be one of the most competitives potteries in Europe.
